Hope for the Olympics: William Nylander can be back

Olympic-qualified Toronto star William Nylander has missed seven straight NHL games due to a groin injury. But now comes news that could make Tre Kronor breathe a sigh of relief. He is close, Toronto coach Craig Berube said, according to NHL.com.

Nylander trained on the ice with the team ahead of Toronto's match against Seattle on Friday night, local time in Sweden, but was not playing.

When asked if it is possible that Nylander will play in Saturday's match, coach Berube gave a straight answer:

Yes.

The Swede has scored 48 points so far this season, including 17 goals and 48 assists.
