The Japanese car giant Honda plans to move the production of its hybrid model Civic from Japan to the USA in response to the American tariffs on imported cars.

The production of Civic, which started in Saitama Prefecture in Japan in February, will be moved to Honda's factory in Indiana in the USA, says a spokesperson for the car giant.

"The decision has been made based on external circumstances including the Trump administration's tariffs", says the company.
