Tampa Bay looked to be on course for a sure win when a red-hot Pontus Holmberg made it 4–1 in tonight's NHL game. But the game went to overtime and a shootout before the team could catch its breath.

When Swedish forward Pontus Holmberg put Tampa Bay up 4-1 at the start of the third period, the uphill climb for visiting Montreal looked undeniably steep.

With four seconds left in the game, Juraj Slafkovsky equalized - and Tampa Bay's collapse was complete.

The match went to overtime and a shootout, where the home team still managed to claim the extra points.

Pontus Holmberg has now scored in three consecutive games, clearly contributing to Tampa Bay's four straight victories.
