Pontus Holmberg showed Olympic form in last night's NHL game, helping lead Tampa Bay to a 6-1 victory over the Florida Panthers with a goal and an assist.

Tampa started strong with a first goal just over two minutes into the first period - a goal that Victor Hedman helped set up.

Holmberg was on the ice later in the period when the 2–0 goal was scored, and in the third period he scored to make it 5–0.

Swede Jesper Boqvist, who plays for Florida, was on the ice until the 1–5 goal.

Both Pontus Holmberg and Victor Hedman have been selected for Tre Kronor's Olympic squad. Sweden's first match of the games will be played in less than a week.
