Atalanta wins its first title in 61 years. At that time, there were two Swedes in the team.

If you ask someone to think of Atalanta and Sweden, that person will likely think of Glenn Strömberg. The midfielder spent several successful seasons with the Bergamo-based club and was loved by the fans.

Now, there are two Swedes playing for the club: Emil Holm, who joined before the season, and Isak Hien, who joined after halftime. The first sat on the bench and the other played from the start when the club won the Europa League at the end of May.

One match Holm will never forget.

The triumph was the club's first since 1963, when Atalanta won the Italian Cup.

The joy at home was also great. When the players arrived in Bergamo, they were greeted as heroes.

Holm further reports that a certain Strömberg also got in touch and congratulated. Strömberg, who became viral during the match by sharing his celebration on social media, has clearly marked the legend's status in Bergamo.

The 24-year-old right-back is now in Stockholm with the Swedish national team. He was substituted in the final minutes of the match against Denmark (loss 1-2) and managed to miss a free kick.

However, he thinks Sweden played a good match.

For Holm and his Sweden, the next training match is coming up, as Serbia will visit Friends Arena on Saturday.

March 24: Albania (home) 1-0.

June 5: Denmark (away) 1-2.
