A sequel to the best-selling “Hogwarts Legacy” has now been officially confirmed by Warner Bros. Games. The original was released in 2023 and sold over 12 million copies in its first two weeks and around 40 million copies in total. Despite planned boycotts, the “Harry Potter”-based game became one of the best-selling video games of all time.
Warner Bros. has now confirmed that the sequel will also be connected to HBO's upcoming "Harry Potter" series, with the game developers coordinating major parts of the story with the television series.
The HBO series premieres on December 25. When the game will be released or what it will look like is currently unclear.
