Lars-Gunnar Jansson passed away after a long illness, according to Radiosporten , which has been in contact with the family. He was 84 years old.
Jansson was an ice hockey coach for many years and also chairman of the Stockholm Ice Hockey Association between 2008 and 2013.
He started working as an expert commentator on Radiosporten in 1990 and commented on matches in the Elitserien/SHL, the World Cup and the Olympics. He stopped working as an expert commentator on the radio in 2019.
