Pittsburgh's second goalkeeper Alex Nedeljkovic had to leave the bench during an NHL match against Colorado, after being hit by a stray puck.
It was in the first period that the puck, after bouncing off a Colorado player's stick, hit Nedeljkovic just below the eye, reports CBS News. He was helped to the locker room and later appeared with stitches in his face and quite swollen, writes AP.
Colorado won the match 6–2, including a hat-trick and two assists by Finnish Mikko Rantanen.
