In early April, the private theater in Östermalm announced that it needed 10 million kronor to avoid bankruptcy. The reason was that the premises were in such poor condition that the renovation cost was 27 million kronor more than budgeted, the theater's CEO Ellen Telje told Svenska Dagbladet.

The theater was saved from closure in 2022 when a new ownership structure took over.

According to P4 Stockholm's sources, payments from the theater have not been made, with sources saying they will be handled by the bankruptcy estate.
