Dutchman Advocaat led Curaçao to the country's first-ever World Cup. Shortly afterwards, he left the national team job due to his daughter's health problems.
Now his successor Fred Rutten has also left his post. According to the BBC, sponsors and players have demanded that Advocaat return, as his daughter is now feeling better.
"Time is short and Curaçao must continue to move forward," Rutten said, according to the BBC.
Curaçao begins the World Cup on June 15 against Germany.
