Hisingsbron in Gothenburg stuck in open position, barriers jammed and traffic later resumed

Later in the morning, Västtrafik announced that the bridge had become stuck and that the barriers had jammed, GP reports.

However, by 9 a.m., all problems had been resolved and traffic over the bridge could resume.

The Hisingsbron has also been stuck on previous occasions because of cold weather. In February last year, the bridge was in the raised position for eleven hours, according to GP.
