According to SMHI's warning, there is a high to extremely high risk of fires in large parts of Götaland and Svealand from midnight to 11 p.m. on Friday and on Saturday.
On Gotland, there is a high or very high risk on Friday, which increases to between high and extremely high on Saturday.
SMHI urges great caution when lighting fires or using large outdoor machinery, which can cause sparks and rapid fire spread.
Since Thursday, there has been a fire ban on the entire island of Gotland.
According to the Civil Defense Agency, there are four water-scooping aircraft on 180-minute standby in Södermanland County this weekend.
In Kronoberg, Västra Götaland, Värmland and Västmanland counties, there are two helicopters each on a 30-minute standby.
