High fire risk across large parts of Sweden

In snow-free parts of Norrland, there is a high to very high risk of grass fires on Friday. Fires are expected to ignite easily in dry grass from last year, among other things.

In the southern half of the country, including southern Norrland, there is a high risk of forest fires during the day. According to SMHI, people should be very careful when lighting fires and check for any fire bans.

Recently, the fire risk has repeatedly been high.
