Artist Mo Chara, one-third of the rap group Kneecap, which has been controversial for its political stances, was charged with terrorism offences in May last year after displaying a Hezbollah flag during a London concert in 2024.
The indictment was dismissed by the court in September 2025 because it had been filed one day after the statute of limitations had expired. However, the decision was appealed by the prosecution.
The High Court in London has now rejected the appeal and announced that the Kneecap member will not be tried on terrorism offences.
