However, the prosecution's request for continued detention with an electronic ankle monitor was granted. They believe there is still a risk of reoffending.
The "bonus prince" Marius is Crown Princess Mette-Marit's eldest son from a previous relationship, and is not a member of the royal family. He has been in custody since Feb. 2. Høiby was sentenced in June to four years in prison for, among other things, rape.
