Høiby instead wants to spend the remainder of the time until sentencing in shackles at the Crown Prince couple's residence, Skaugum.
Both the district court and the court of appeal have rejected his request.
29-year-old Høiby, the son of Norway's Crown Princess Mette-Marit from a previous relationship, has been in custody since early February.
He is charged with 40 crimes, including several counts of rape. The trial was held in March, and a verdict is expected on June 15.
