Slovenian Luka Doncic accounted for 45 points, 14 assists and eleven rebounds as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated Utah 143–135.
It was the fifth time this season that Doncic had at least 10 points, assists and rebounds in a game. It was also the first time since he joined the Lakers before last season that he had a triple-double of at least 40 points.
And he became the second person to record a 45-point triple-double including five steals since the NBA began counting steals.
It's Luka! Luka Magic! He's so damn good it's ridiculous, says basketball legend LeBron James, who himself accounted for 28 points and ten assists.
However, it was Doncic's only misstep that he himself was most pleased with.
"One turnover is the best statistic. We only had seven, which is impressive of us, and we won the game," Doncic said.
