Herrljunga apple cider recalled after label mix-up

This is due to a mix-up that means the bottle contains apple cider without added sugar but is labeled as “classic apple cider with sugar.” The content declaration therefore does not match the content - the cider contains the sweetener aspartame, which is not stated on the label.

Since aspartame is a source of phenylalanine, people who are hypersensitive to phenylalanine should not consume the cider.

The recall applies to: Herrljunga Apple Cider, 1-liter PET, EAN 7312720021238, best-before date 09.03.2027, time: 10:00-15:00. The recall only applies to products with this date and time.
