Anna Hallberg is nominated for her poetry collection "AN", while Linda Örtenblad is nominated for her short story collection "Kartotek över döda och årståpståstna".

This is the third time Anna Hallberg has been nominated for the Nordic Council Literature Prize.

Other nominees from the Nordic countries include Mette Moestrup and Charlotte Weitze from Denmark, Pirkko Saisio and Quynh Tran from Finland, and the Norwegian Dag Johan Haugerud.

Haugerud is also an award-winning film director and won the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival last year. Haugerud's "Sjelesorg" has not been translated into Swedish.

Last year, the Nordic Council Literature Prize went to Vónbjørt Vang from the Faroe Islands for the novel "The Black Orchid".
