The former NHL star Henrik Zetterberg is back in Timrå. "Zäta" is new sports advisor in the SHL club.
"I want to help create conditions for even more young, ambitious players to be able to take steps here and contribute to the association's continued growth", says Henrik Zetterberg to Timrå's website.
The today 44-year-old Zetterberg, who himself broke through in Timrå as a 19-year-old, belongs to an exclusive group of hockey players who have won both Olympic Games, World Championship and Stanley Cup. He played 15 seasons in NHL, made 960 points in 1,082 matches and got to lift the Stanley Cup trophy with Detroit 2008. That season he was also named the entire NHL playoffs' most valuable player.
