Helly Hansen is being sold

The Norwegian outdoor brand Helly Hansen is being sold for 900 million dollars.

The buyer is Kontoor Brands, which already owns the jeans brands Lee and Wrangler.

Helly Hansen has its headquarters in Oslo but is currently owned by the Canadian company Canadian Tire Corporation.

The deal is expected to be completed during the second quarter of the year.
