The honeymoon is over for Kim Hellberg at Middlesbrough. After a 1-0 defeat to Derby, the team has gone goalless in four straight Championship games.

Kim Hellberg got off to a dream start at Middlesbrough, with four straight wins immediately after taking over as coach at the end of November.

But after that it got even harder.

0–2 against Bristol City, 0–0 against Blackburn, 0–1 against Hull - and on the first day of the year came another heavy blow. Away at Derby, "Boro" suffered a 1–0 defeat after the home team's Bobby Clark scored the only goal in the 70th minute.

It was national team goalkeeper Jacob Widell Zetterström who stood between the posts in Derby, and Middlesbrough have now played for just over six and a half hours without scoring a goal.

In the table, Middlesbrough slips to third place after being passed by Ipswich, who are a full eight points behind league leaders Coventry.
