In November last year, Kim Hellberg left Hammarby for Middlesbrough.
The 38-year-old Swede has led Middlesbrough to six straight league wins and has now been named Manager of the Month in the Championship.
"I am proud and happy to receive this award," Hellberg told the EFL's website.
Middlesbrough lead the table with 61 points.
