New this year in the "Married at First Sight" concept is that couples can decide on an ongoing basis whether they want to stay married or divorce. In previous seasons, the decision has been made during the final week.
In episode six of the reality series, Helena Vanhanen and Sasan Momeni now choose to leave after concluding that they are too different.
"There are mixed feelings about the journey being over. The sadness and disappointment remain, but at the same time it's quite nice," says Helena Vanhanen in the programme.
Her husband Sasan Momeni's view that you can't have friends of the opposite sex, a view shared by several of the other participants in this year's edition, was the final straw.
It's sad that you can't accept that others think differently than you do, says Sasan Momeni.
