During her career, Helena Saxon has been, among other things, CFO at Wallenbergsfärens Investor and a board member of the clothing chain H&M and the pharmaceutical group Novo Nordisk.
“The board's agenda is clear: Kinnevik's portfolio will become more concentrated, more European and more focused on companies in later growth phases,” says Cristina Stenbeck, chairwoman of Kinnevik's board, in the press release.
Helena Saxon adds:
“The focus will be on driving growth in the existing portfolio, as well as investing and allocating capital to improve financial flexibility and create long-term value. We have a lot to do and I look forward to starting work with the team in August,” she says.
