"It has become apparent that the character created for Helena Bonham Carter did not fit the set. The role has since been rewritten and will be cast in the coming weeks," HBO told Deadline.
The cast for the upcoming season - which this time is set on the French Riviera - includes Swedish Frida Gustavsson and Norwegian Tobias Santelmann.
