In a meeting with the so-called Contact Group for Ukraine's defense (Ramstein group) the US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth urges other NATO countries to buy more weapons from the US in order to be able to deliver to Ukraine.
According to Hegseth, the US is ready to increase the pressure on Russia.
– The US is, together with the allies, ready to take necessary steps to impose costs on Russia for their continued aggression, says Hegseth, who also promises that the US and President Donald Trump – just like in Gaza – will arrange "peace through strength".
This war did not start under President Trump, but it will end under him, promises Hegseth in Brussels.
