Sara Hector skied out in the second run of the ladies' World Championship slalom in Saalbach, where she was over two seconds from the podium after the first run. Overall, it's clear that it was a bad day, says the 32-year-old to Viaplay.

The expectations were high for the reigning Olympic champion in giant slalom ahead of the World Championship, since she had taken several podium positions in the World Cup during the winter. The championship ended with a bronze in the team event, a sixth place in giant slalom, and a disqualification in slalom.

I'm tired, I'm disappointed. I'm also a bit revenge-hungry, says Hector.

The Swiss Camille Rast had a lead of just under six tenths of a second ahead of the Austrian home favourite Katharina Liensberger after the first run. The 25-year-old held up to the favourite pressure in the second run and took the gold 46 hundredths of a second ahead of her compatriot Wendy Holdener. Liensberger took the bronze.

Cornelia Öhlund became the best Swedish athlete, finishing eleventh.
