An important public notice (VMA) was issued in Borlänge on Sunday due to heavy smoke. The rescue service urges residents in the area to stay indoors and away from windows.
"We have quite a lot of water and resources on site. But we don't have it under control yet," Jens Hermansson from the rescue service said earlier.
On Sunday evening, the rescue service also issued a warning regarding the water in the Dalälven River.
“Firefighting water has run out into the river and that is why we are warning,” Håkan Eriksson from the rescue service says to Borlänge newspaper.
The fire started at 2 p.m. on Sunday and it is unclear what caused it.
No one has been injured.
