After a fire that caused a comprehensive power outage, the management of Heathrow has decided to keep the airport closed throughout Friday.

The closure also affects travelers to and from Sweden. Seven departures and arrivals are affected at Arlanda and three at Landvetter.

Information about canceled flights is being updated continuously on Swedavia's website and in the airlines' apps. On Friday morning, for example, a flight with British Airways and one with SAS have been canceled from Arlanda.

Travelers from Copenhagen Airport in Kastrup are also affected. From there, there are eleven flights to Heathrow today and eleven arrivals, according to the news agency Ritzau.

Swedavia recommends that travelers contact their airline or travel organizer if they have specific questions about their journey.
