Series creator Jacob Tierney tells CBS Mornings that filming for season two will begin in August, Variety reports.
"There's more 'Heated Rivalry' coming to your TVs as quickly as possible," Tierney says.
The much-talked-about Canadian series follows a romantic relationship between two male ice hockey stars and was a huge success at the end of last year. The TV series is based on books by Canadian author Rachel Reid.
