On Thursday and Friday, temperatures may rise above 30 degrees in parts of Blekinge and Kalmar counties. The nights are also expected to be warm, which reduces the chance of nighttime cooling and ventilation.
The high summer heat is forecast to spread across the country. During the weekend, temperatures could reach around 30 degrees in many parts of southern Sweden, which means that more warnings may be issued.
At the beginning of next week, however, more unstable weather is expected to move in across the country, bringing rain showers and cooler temperatures.
