Health food chain Life applies for bankruptcy for operations in Finland and Sweden, the company announces in a press release.
The company writes that the market for retail trade "has been characterized by a number of challenges, with rising costs, squeezed margins and changed consumption patterns as a result of the pandemic, inflation and recession".
A bankruptcy trustee will now be appointed to oversee the bankruptcy process including the sale of the operations and its assets.
