Payment problems that mean the company is insolvent are cited as the explanation for the bankruptcy application, which according to the newspaper Markets was filed on Monday.

Last year, the same chain was saved from bankruptcy after Norwegian Life Norden AS bought the bankruptcy estate. But the debts, including SEK 5.8 million owed to the Swedish Enforcement Authority, have now forced a second bankruptcy filing, Markets reports.

On Wednesday, Life's website was closed for trading with the message "technical problems in the warehouse", according to Göteborgs-Posten.
