The health center Hälsa Hemma in Mölndal has focused on home visits and digital care. Now the Västra Götaland Region believes care visits were registered incorrectly for several years, resulting in incorrect payments of millions, and is terminating the agreement with immediate effect.

At the end of May, 4,989 people were registered with the health center, which is located in Kållered. Now, the patients will be automatically re-registered at other health centers starting Wednesday.

The company's CEO, Fabian Ruben, writes to GP that the intention was to have "high-quality digital and physical care".

"Such an approach poses challenges in relation to a regulatory framework that in many parts is designed for more traditional forms of care."
