An accident occurred on the E45 in Kil municipality in Värmland. Several people have been injured and taken to hospital, with at least one transported by helicopter, the police write on their website.
According to the caller, it was a head-on collision and six people were involved, a team leader at SOS Alarm told NWT.
Several ambulances are on site.
The road is completely closed, and traffic is being diverted at the scene of the accident.
