Robert Andrén will become the new Governor of Södermanland County from the beginning of the year. His appointment will run until 31 December 2031.
"Robert Andrén's long experience from the state and understanding of the importance of growth will be an asset to the residents of Södermanland County," says Minister of Civil Service Erik Slottner (KD) in a press release.
Robert Andrén was born in 1967 and was Director General of the Swedish Energy Agency until August 2024. Prior to that, he was County Councillor at the County Administrative Board in Värmland and Ministerial Councillor at the Government Offices.
