"I see very great opportunities for IFK Norrköping to develop a clear strategy and find a way of working that takes us back to where the club should be," says Jurelius in a statement.
He has previously been the sporting director of AIK and technical director of Brommapojkarna. Jurelius has already taken up his position.
Norrköping will meet Örgryte in the qualifiers on November 22, with the return match on November 29.
