David Moyes: Coach 2013-2014.

The first to take over the club after Sir Alex. The Scot was fired after less than a season due to poor results.

Louis van Gaal: 2014-2016.

Even during the Dutchman's time, it went slowly for United. He himself described the team he inherited from Moyes as a "destroyed squad".

Therefore, he spent big during his first season and recruited, among others, the superstar Angel Di Maria. After a season where the world star was considered a big flop, he was sold.

Van Gaal then missed out on a Champions League spot during his second season, and therefore, he also got fired, just days after winning an FA Cup title.

José Mourinho: 2016-2018.

"The Special One" seemed to turn the ship around during his first season. He won the League Cup, Community Shield, and Europa League, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the team. The second season was less successful, titleless, and the team finished second in the league. A few months into his third season, he also got fired, one of the most successful coaches of all time.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær: 2018-2021.

The Norwegian, who won many titles under Sir Alex as a player, got the chance as interim head coach. After ten wins in 13 matches, he got the job. The first season ended with a third place, the second season with a second place. A while into his third season, the Norwegian got fired after a weak start to the season.

Erik ten Hag: 2022-2024.

Ten Hag also got a lot of money to recruit new players. Among others, he bought Anthony for a total transfer sum believed to have exceeded 1 billion kronor. The Brazilian is seen by many as one of the worst transfers in Premier League history.

During his debut season, the Dutchman won the League Cup, the club's first title in six years. The following season, he followed up with an FA Cup title, but finished eighth in the league, the club's worst placement ever. On October 28, he also got fired, after a tough start. United is currently in 13th place in the league.

Rúben Amorim: Has a contract until 2027.

The 39-year-old Portuguese has made a success with Sporting Lisbon and led the team to two league titles with Viktor Gyökeres at the forefront.

He makes his debut with United in the Premier League against Ipswich Town away on Sunday (17.30).
