The face mask has bothered the French football star Kylian Mbappé during the European Championship in Germany, especially his peripheral vision.

But the broken nose has not affected his speed on the football pitch. Mbappé is the European Championship's fastest player. According to the European Football Association's statistics, the striker has reached a top speed of 36.5 km/h.

The Spanish striker Ferran Torres is the next fastest, 36 km/h, and the Slovenian Benjamin Sesko is third at 35.9 km/h.

An additional twelve players have run at top speeds over 35 km/h.
