Half the starting field for the final of Melodifestivalen has crystallized. But so far, there is no clear favorite – the betting companies believe most in Måns Zelmerlöw's as yet unknown song.

Two weekends and two qualifying rounds remain – plus one final qualifying round. This means that viewers may already have heard this year's winning entry in Melodifestivalen. But it could also be hiding among the last contestants in Malmö or Jönköping.

Zelmerlöw favorite

If you believe the betting companies, it will once again be Måns Zelmerlöw that Sweden sends to the Eurovision in Basel in April, with the song "Revolution", which very few people have heard so far.

The next biggest chance apparently has Klara Hammarström's "On and on and on", despite her only getting the second most votes in her qualifying round in Göteborg.

Saturday night's winner and debutant Greczula has sailed up to third place on the odds lists. But he hasn't started thinking about the final yet.

I think it's "just another gig". We'll do the same thing again as we did now, he said to TT after the qualifying round in Västerås.

The critics don't seem sure either if we've already heard the Swedish winning song or not. Marcus Larsson writes in Aftonbladet that "in a week, the competition starts for real", when Måns Zelmerlöw competes in Malmö.

"Not having a gap"

The starting field for the final is not set until all entries have been performed, says Melodifestivalen's project leader Anders Wistbacka.

It's such a big puzzle, so we can't lay it out until everything is clear. You can't have a gap somewhere and decide on the entries around it. So the starting order is set on the night, after qualifying round five.

He also says that SVT is so far satisfied with this year's Melodifestival and the reception they've gotten.

Yes, I think absolutely. We have great viewer numbers, we've had two number ones on Spotify and the app is going great.

From the qualifying round in Luleå:

Maja Ivarsson – "Kamikaze life"

John Lundvik – "Voice of the silent"

From the qualifying round in Göteborg:

Erik Segerstedt – "Show me what love is"

Klara Hammarström – "On and on and on"

From the qualifying round in Västerås:

Greczula – "Believe me"

Annika Wickihalder – "Life again"
