It was a hat trick for Swede Mika Zibanejad as his New York Rangers beat the Philadelphia Flyers 6–3 on the road. The win was long-awaited and the team's first after a five-game losing streak.
"You get a lot of different emotions when something like this happens," Zibanejad told nhl.com after the game.
He also praised his team for a good performance.
"The way we responded today and the way we played was fantastic," he said.
One of Zibanejad's goals came on the power play, his 117th power play goal for the Rangers in the regular season and the most in club history.
