The issue - which Harvard Business School says is no longer relevant - was investigated after the Trump administration threatened last year to halt visas for foreign students at Harvard. The visa threat has since been overturned in court.

Talks have reportedly been held with Nova School of Business and Economics in Portugal, IMD in Switzerland, the British London Business School and the University of Toronto, the newspaper reports, citing sources.

The Trump administration has cut funding to Harvard and demanded changes to its governance, citing alleged problems with anti-Semitism and restrictions on free speech.
