The second season is based on book two of author J.K. Rowling's series, "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets," and will begin filming this fall.
However, it will be until Christmas before the first eight episodes of the HBO series are shown, writes Variety.
The lead role of Harry Potter is played by Scottish actor Dominic McLaughlin. Potter's friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley are portrayed by Arabella Stanton and Alastair Stout, respectively.
