The leading Asian stock exchanges started Friday's trading on a good note.
In Tokyo, the important Nikkei 225 index had grown by 1.5 percent around lunchtime, while the broader Topix index increased by 1 percent.
Even in Hong Kong, there was optimism, albeit more cautious, as the Hang Seng index rose by 0.1 percent.
Relatively cheerful tones were heard from the composite indexes in Shanghai and Shenzhen, which grew by 0.3 and 0.7 percent, respectively.
