During her time as CEO, a position she has held since 2024, Hanna Stjärne has led a change effort and been involved in developing the prestigious Nobel Center project, a building set to be constructed at Slussen starting in 2027.
"It has been a fantastic journey to develop the Nobel Foundation's operations and work to ensure that the Nobel Prizes reach the entire world. Now the new Nobel House is also on its way to becoming a reality, and the foundation has been laid for developing the operations in the building. I am proud of what we have done together and of the many skilled employees in the Nobel Sphere," says Hanna Stjärne in the press release.
The news comes as Dagens Nyheter reports that Stjärne's time as chair of the Nobel Center Foundation has been marred by internal dissatisfaction.
Hanna Stjärne was previously CEO of SVT, a position she left in 2024.
