After the third shooting, Hanna and Elvira Öberg went out together; up to that point they had shot cleanly in the race, and it looked like it would be a great sisterly success.

In the final shooting, Elvira Öberg missed two shots and Hanna Öberg missed one. Hanna still took the lead but was quickly joined by Lisa Vittozzi, who shot cleanly.

On the last lap, the Italian had more energy and was able to decide it on the skis in the final race of the World Cup season. Third was the Czech Tereza Vobornikova. Elvira Öberg was fourth with two misses.

Second place in the mass start means that Hanna Öberg will be second in the overall World Cup.

"I am of course very happy with the season I have had," she told SVT.

Final top five in the overall Women's Biathlon World Cup:

Lou Jeanmonnot, France, 1,135 points.

Hanna Öberg, Sweden, 958 points.

Lisa Vittozzi, Italy, 935 points.

Elvira Öberg, Sweden, 922 points.

Suvi Minkkinen, Finland, 881 points.
