According to the indictment, the men attempted to kill the teenager by repeatedly stabbing him with a machete. The incident occurred in Vinterviken in Stockholm on December 4 last year. According to the indictment, one of the stabs was partly aimed at the neck. The victim suffered severe stab wounds to one leg and his hand was cut off.
According to the investigation, the motive was revenge for an assault on one of the accused in September.
"In the investigation, we have looked at people around the plaintiff and we can see, among other things, in phone records that there is a connection between people close to the plaintiff and the assault in September 2025," prosecutor Emma Hilmersson wrote to TT.
Both men, 19 and 20, deny any wrongdoing.
