With the support of the Public Order Act, the police withdrew the public permit for the scandal derby between Hammarby and Djurgården a year ago. Now the Administrative Court has established that the decision was correct and dismisses Hammarby's appeal.

In the 76th minute in the match on October 20 last year, the match was interrupted and the audience had to leave Tele2 Arena, now 3Arena.

The match was played out the next day, without an audience. Hammarby won with 2–0.

”Against the background of the very extensive disorder during the match and the risk of using further pyrotechnics and firecrackers, the court considers that it did not appear as a reasonable alternative to wait out the situation any longer”, says the court's chairman, chief magistrate Håkan Åberg in a press release.
