The six players are Amir al-Ammari, Kevin Yakob, Aimar Sher, Hussein Ali, Rebin Sulaka and Ahmed Qasem. One player who is not allowed to go is Hammarby winger Montander Madjed. According to media reports, the reason for the ban is that the 21-year-old had previously criticized the national team on social media. Madjed has acknowledged this and apologized.
Peter Gwargis, who previously played for Swedish youth teams, is also not included.
